Yunnan CC&TSPM Elects New Leadership at 9th Christian Representatives Conference

On December 15-16, the ninth Christian Representatives Conference of Yunnan Province convened in Kunming, electing the ninth leadership of Yunnan Provincial CC&TSPM. The conference brought together 252 Christian representatives and officials from ethnic and religious affairs departments across 16 prefectures and cities.

According to the Yunnan Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau, Deng Jianwei was elected chairperson of the ninth Yunnan Provincial TSPM and Liu Yanfang as secretary general, with nine vice chairpersons appointed. Shao Liliang was elected president of the eighth Yunnan Provincial CC (also serving as president of Yunnan Theological Seminary)  and Hai Jinhua as general secretary, with nine elected vice presidents. He Fajie and Luo Deshun were elected as chairperson and vice chairperson of the first Board of Supervisors of the provincial CC&TSPM, respectively.

The conference also reviewed work since the eighth representative meeting and approved the "Outline of the Five-Year Work Plan for Systematically Advancing the Sinicization of Christianity in Yunnan (2026–2030)."
