On November 8, Xiaojinkou Church in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, held a thanksgiving worship service and celebration to mark the 30th anniversary of its founding. The event brought together more than 400 attendees, including pastors and representatives from the church committees of 31 churches and meeting points across the city, as well as members of Xiaojinkou Church.
According to Huizhou TSPM, during the worship service, Rev. Han Chengqiang, vice chairperson of Huizhou TSPM, delivered an exhortation titled "Building Up the Body of Christ." He urged believers to fulfill their responsibilities in Christ with courage, to pursue spiritual maturity and growth, and to support and edify one another in love. Rev. Han also encouraged Xiaojinkou Church to continue upholding Christ as the head of the church, remain united in heart and mind, and strive to build a congregation that is pleasing to God.
During the subsequent celebration, a documentary highlighting the 30-year journey of Xiaojinkou Church was screened, reflecting on its steadfast faith, dedication to serving believers, and testimony to the gospel.
Rev. Zhan Shaochu, chairperson of Huizhou TSPM, then emphasized that Christians should always adhere to laws and regulations, uphold the tradition of patriotism and love for the church, and demonstrate the value of their faith through concrete actions in the new era, contributing to social harmony.
Finally, Rev. Han and Minister Yan Dongdong presented awards to former pastors, church committee members, and devoted believers who have faithfully served the church over the past three decades.
