On October 18, the dedication of Songxi Town's newest church, Xuandao Church, was held in Fujian, with 13 pastors and over 300 believers in attendance.
Rev. Fang Yusong, the chairman of Sanming CCC & TSPM, presided over the ceremony, and Rev. Deng Lingyong led the prayer. Citing Nehemiah 2:17-20, Rev. Lin Zewei gave a sermon named "Go up and Build" to encourage the congregation to dedicate themselves to God's family.
Located in a mountainous area, the church had few believers and was in financial difficulty. Through a decade's worth of efforts, the three-story church building was finally completed with a construction area of more than 700 m2.
"May everyone who enters the temple be filled with the Lord's spirit... and poured with the Lord's love! I believe that the glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house! " A pastor who attended the ceremony said.
